Interperformances Signees Join IPZ

WARREN, NJ, May 8, 2017  InterperformancesUSA (IPZ), in conjunction with Interperformances in San Marino, has added five players to its roster, the company announced today. The players are Paris Lee (Illinois State University), Raven “Ray” Lee (Eastern Michigan University), Moussa Diagne (Montakit Fuenlabrada), Tyler Scott (University of Prince Edward Island), Terrence Bieshaar (CB Prat Juventud), and Deon Edwin (Kent State University).

Paris Lee was named the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the year for the 2016-2017 season. The Illinois State point guard stands at six feet and averaged 12.8 points, 5.0 assists, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game in his senior campaign. This performance earned him a spot in the 2017 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, which is a showcase for 64 of the best college seniors in the country.

Raven “Ray” Lee was a focal point for the Eastern Michigan Eagles’ offense the past three seasons, averaging more than 15 points per contest in each. As a senior, Lee’s stat line was 15.7 points, 2.5 assists, and 1.6 steals per game, while shooting a dependable 86 percent from the stripe and 36 percent from beyond the arc. His 15.7 points per game landed him 11th on the Mid-American Conference (MAC) leaderboard.

Moussa Diagne is a 6-foot-11 center with a nearly 7-foot-5 wingspan who plays for FC Barcelona Lassa. Diagne was a 2015 NBA Draft candidate that has been a member of the Senegalese Senior National Team. The 23-year-old played for Montakit Fuenlabrada (Spain-Liga Endesa) during the 2016-2017 season, averaging 7.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game prior to switching to FC Barcelona (Spain-Liga Endesa) in January. With FC Barcelona, Diagne helped the team win the SuperCup and make it to the league final.

Tyler Scott has been a prolific scorer for the University of Prince Edward Island – located in Canada – since stepping foot on the court. In each of the last three seasons, the 6-foot-3 guard has averaged more than 21 points per game. Scott has been named to the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) All-Canadian Second Team twice, first in 2015 and again in 2016. In his senior season, Scott averaged 21.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per contest.

Terrence Bieshaar is a 6-foot-10 center who has been a mainstay on the Dutch National Team since being selected for the U16 squad in 2013. The 19-year-old most recently played for CB Prat Juventud (LEB-Gold) where he averaged 6.2 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.

Deon Edwin was selected to the MAC All-Defensive Team for the 2016-2017 season. The 6-foot-3 guard was not only a solid defender for the Kent State Golden Flashes, but a reliable scorer and rebounder, too. Edwin averaged 13.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.3 steals (ranked ninth in the MAC) per game, while shooting 34.6 percent from behind the three-point line.
